Keep an eye out for a letter being mailed
to you from you kindergarten teachers. We want to welcome you to
Kindergarten, share some important dates, invite you to the garden clean-up,
and to our Open House on the first day of school.
Come and join us on the Kindergarten playground for a garden clean-up
evening. The date and time are in the letter. In case of poor weather, check
here for an cancellation notice.
Some items that you could
bring for the evening to help clean the gardens are: rakes, hand trowels,
hoes, hedge clippers, shovels, push brooms, and garden gloves.
We also need some plants to
fill our gardens and some large bags of cypress mulch. We would like to have
some perennials. Over the years we have added Irises and Stone Crop. Any
other perennials or annuals would be greatly appreciated.

The over and over words are a list of 24
sight words that kindergarteners should learn to read by the end of the
school year. We will work with these words all year long. We will
introduce two words each week.
