What does the SSP model look like?

Our Support Service model includes a multi-level approach beginning with in-class interventions and progressing through various levels of support based on individual student needs.

When is a referral necessary?

There are many adaptations and interventions a classroom teacher may implement to address a student's needs. He or she may also consult with other teachers, administrators, SSP personnel to discuss a variety of strategies that may allow a student to become more successful. If the additional assistance is not enough, or if more information about a student is necessary, a referral may be made. This process begins by contacting one of the SSP teachers.
